Saige arrived at VCU knowing how to make friends. What she didn't know was that there's a difference between being an open book and truly letting people in — and that learning the difference would change everything. When a new friend invited her to a Chi Alpha small group in the middle of her freshman year, she walked into a room that could hold her whole self. What followed was the slow, uncomfortable, and beautiful work of God transforming her into someone she hadn't known she could be.

What if college was the place where your whole life changed direction? For Tommy and Madison, that's exactly what happened. Tommy almost didn't go to college at all. Madison transferred schools because she sensed God had a plan for her in a specific community. And through Chi Alpha at Penn State Behrend, both of them discovered that life with God is so much more than they ever knew was possible. Now married and graduating, they're heading to rural Alaska to serve with Alaska Student Partnership and continue to participate in the Great Commission.

When Teni first arrived at Yale University, she wasn’t necessarily looking for God to deeply transform her. In fact, she wasn’t even really aware of anything that needed changing–and if there was, surely she could address it herself. What she didn’t expect was how God would use community, friendship, and even Sabbath rest to slowly reshape her identity and her understanding of what it means to walk with Him.
